Choose your TLC clothing size by comparing a garment you already like with the chart for the style you want. The regular-fit tee, women’s premium tee and oversized hoodie have different cuts, so the same size letter does not mean the same measurements.
Which fit should you choose?
- Regular-fit tee: A crew-neck T-shirt with short sleeves and a regular fit. Start here if you prefer that shape, then check its length and flat chest width against a tee you own.
- Women’s premium tee: A shaped, slimmer fit. This style runs small; the supplier recommends ordering one size up. Use the chart as well as that guidance, especially if you are between sizes.
- Oversized hoodie: A roomy fit with dropped shoulders. Compare it with a hoodie you like, allowing for how you plan to layer it. An oversized cut is already built into the style; check the measurements before choosing a larger size.
How to compare the measurements
- Choose a T-shirt or hoodie that fits the way you want the new one to fit. Lay it flat and smooth it without stretching it.
- Measure the garment’s length, chest width across the front and sleeve length. Follow the measurement diagram on the product page where one is provided.
- Compare those numbers with the chart for the exact TLC style you are buying. The charts use inches and describe the garment, not your body.
Flat chest width is not chest circumference. It is the width across a garment laid flat, not the distance around your body. On the women’s tee diagram, A is garment length, B is flat chest width and C is sleeve length.
Why the size letter alone is not enough
For example, the current French Bulldog regular-fit tee chart lists medium at 29.53 inches long and 21.85 inches wide when laid flat. The Pit Bull women’s premium tee chart lists medium at 25.67 inches long and 21.06 inches wide. Those are two different shapes despite sharing the letter M.
